Stopped into Meijer tonight to pick up the Lunchables for my kids, and to check on a possible upcoming 2-day sale. Meijer is offering 15% off general merchandise and apparel and 5% off grocery and HBC with mPerks this week (Friday and Saturday, 6/21 and 6/22). These offers usually come along with a 2-day sale, but no word on it yet. I’ll keep checking! Here’s what I bought:

The last time the Centrella ad included a manufacturer coupon, my local store refused to accept it because it would not scan. However, even if the coupon doesn’t scan, some Meijer will accept competitor’s coupons. So if this cannot be accepted as a valid manufacturer coupon at your local store (and there is no reason why it shouldn’t), you can always ask if they will then accept it as a competitor’s coupon, since Wisted’s, Jewel, and Dominick’s will all accept this coupon. Just a thought!

Headed out to Meijer this morning to stock up on yogurt. My kids are going crazy for the Yoplait Chocolate Whips, and the 20 Yoplait I bought last week are already gone! I also bought a few fat free items for my mom, who is scheduled to come visit us over the 4th of July. Here’s what I bought:

Total after coupons was $35.80 and I paid with $6 OYNO for buying Ice Mountain on Saturday and the rest on a credit card. Got back $11.25 in OYNO ($5 for the Dannon, $2 mfg and $3 store for the Yoplait, 0.50 for the Tropical Fruit and 0.75 for the Mandarin Oranges. And yes, I bought a LOT of yogurt, but we go through it so quickly (especially in summer), and the expiration dates were out at the end of July! Net cost for everything $24.55 with a savings of $44.33

I also collected a bunch of prices on some of the new products with Catalinas, so look for a post later today with all that information.
