The winner of the Blushing Bride Barbie is Lynette, who said, “My favorite childhood toy was actually a game called Payday. It’s all about money! No wonder I grew up to be a numbers geek! LOL.” Lynette wasn’t able to leave an email address, so let’s give her 3 days to respond to this post or contact me at firstname.lastname@example.org.
And if there are some interruptions to this site today, I apologize in advance. We’re working on improving the comments function and there might be some technical difficulties! Thanks for your patience!
Over at American Express Daily Wish, they are offering a $100 refund when you spend $200 or more at Amazon.com to the first 200 people who register their card. This sounds like it could be another electronic stampede, but I thought it was worthy of a post.
There is also an option for $20 back when you spend $50 or more. Registration begins on 11/29, but the site doesn’t give the time. Good luck with this one!
You can snag a free Seven Slings baby sling from Mamapedia. These retail for $39.99, and although the product is free, you do have to pay $11.99 for shipping. It still seems like a great deal to me, and boy (or girl!) would this make a great baby gift! Go over here to get started (full disclosure – that’s my affiliate link!). If the deal that comes up is for computer software (Chicago), select cities at the top of the page and then click on “National,” which is the very first selection on the left side of the pop-up.
If you’ve never bought from Mamapedia before, it works similar to Groupon and Eversave. You purchase a voucher which you then turn around and redeem at the retailer they are featuring.
Here’s another great magazine deal – you can get ESPN magazine for just $2.99/yr! Head over to Tanga, where the regular price is $25.99/yr. Place the subscription in your cart, and enter code ESPN on the second page. The price drops to $2.99/yr with free shipping! Now that’s a great deal on a Christmas gift!
Thanks, My Frugal Adventures!
Remember the free TGIF Drinks deal I told you about here? Well it all depended on being able to find the rebate forms at Jewel. Reader (and dear friend) Nancy emailed to say that you can download the rebate form from TheBar.com. Thanks, Nancy! Just click on the right hand side where it says “Thanksgiving Savings Save up to $50 in spirits.” She also said you can buy the TGI Friday’s drinks at Binny’s for just a little bit more. They won’t be quite free, but it’s still a great deal (and they have more varieties in stock)!
Here is the information from the original post:
I read over on Couponers Wanted that there’s a $50 Rebate wyb 8 Bottles of select drinks hang-tag that’s been spotted at Jewel (thanks, IHeartSavings!).
Evidently the 750 ml TGI Friday Ready to Serve drinks are on price drop at Meijer for $5.99 (including Long Island Ice Tea, and Mudslide) (thanks, notsyrup!). This item is included in the $50 Shine All Season rebate mentioned above.
So if you’re having a holiday party, you can purchase 8 of the TGI Friday Ready to Serve drinks for $48 + tax, then (if you can find the rebate form), send in for the $50 rebate. The tax will be more than $2, but these will be nearly free!
Thanks, Couponers Wanted, and dear friend Nancy!
