Target has a new way to save called Cartwheel! This is a great program to sign up for, since you can use a manufacturer coupon, Target store coupon, and save even more with Cartwheel! This is a Facebook based program, so you will need a Facebook account to get started.

Offers come in the form of a percentage off specific products you might purchase. You can add the offers to your account by clicking in the box of the offer. The box will turn around and you will see an “add” button. Click on this and the offer is added! You’ll also see the expiration date of the offer at this time. The upper right hand icon will then change from a star to a check mark to indicate the offer has been added to your account.

To redeem, simply click, “Redeem in store,” at the top right of the page. The offers you have selected will print. Take this shopping with you and present it to the cashier at checkout. Alternatively, you can access Cartwheel from your mobile phone and show the barcode that appears when you click on the shopping cart icon. You won’t need a special app, just access the Cartwheel homepage from within your phone’s browser (Safari for iPhone, for example).

Here are a few details to keep in mind. First, the Cartwheel discount is taken after Target store coupons and before any manufacturer coupons you might have. An identical offer can be applied a maximum of four times in a single transaction. You can also apply all the Cartwheel offers in your account in one shopping trip, and shop as much as six times a day with Cartwheel savings!
