This week’s Jewel ad contains an advertisement for a Free $25 Jewel Gift card with a new or transferred prescription! Plus, you’ll receive a stamp card and when you’ll filled or refilled five additional prescriptions, you’ll earn a $50 Jewel Gift card! Both offers expire and must be redeemed by 12/31/2014. There are some exclusions, so read the ad before you phone in your transfer.
Now it looks like the ad is a coupon, even though it isn’t marked as such. I’m clipping and holding just in case this ad is required for the gift card.
My local CVS is backing off on issuing gift cards with competitor’s coupons, so this is just in time. For a prescription to qualify at my local CVS as a ‘new prescription,’ you must never have had a prescription filled for that same medication….ever. Also, competitor’s coupons must be for a gift card (not a $20 OYNO, like the Meijer pharmacy coupons that print from the Meijer Catalina machines). You can always ask at your local CVS pharmacy about their new rules!
