Reset: B2GO Free Tresemme Printable Coupon {as low as 0.42 at CVS}!

Sunday, August 31st, 2014

Untitled Untitled

The Free Tresemme Heat Activated Treatment wyb Tresemme 7 Day Keratin Smooth Shampoo and Conditioner Printable coupon has reset! There are great deals on Tresemme this week at CVS, where it is included in the “Spend $30 get a $10 CVS Gift card,” promotion.

Here’s are two scenarios I put together for CVS. This scenario will only work for you if your CVS store allows the use of the B2GO Free Tresemme coupon along with the $2/1 Tresemme coupons! Now the Tresemme coupons are limit two per shopping trip, so I used two of the insert coupons and two of the $1.75/1 Tresemme printables that were available last week. If you don’t have the $1.75/1 printables, you can always split this into two separate trips so you don’t use more than two of the same coupon in one transaction. You’ll get your $10 CVS gift car at the end of your second transaction! Here’s the deal:

  • Buy four Tresemme Keratin Smooth Shampoo and Conditioner, BOGO 50% off at $5.79, for $17.37
Buy two Tresemme Thermal Creations Heat-Tamer Leave-In spray, BOGO 50% off at $5.79, for $8.69
Buy two Garnier Fructis Shampoo or Conditioner, $2.99 ea, for $5.98
    Subtotal is $32.04
Use four $2/1 Tresemme Shampoo or Conditioner coupons from the 8/24 RP (limit 2 per shopping trip; must split over two trips)
And use two Free Tresemme Heat Activated Treatment wyb Tresemme 7 Day Keratin Smooth Shampoo and Conditioner Printable coupons, if your store allows
Use two $1/1 Garnier from the 8/10 RP
Pay $13.35 and get a $10 CVS gift card
Net cost: $3.35/8 products or 0.42 each!

Now if your store doesn’t allow the use of the BOGO Free and the $2/1, here’s a different idea:

Walgreens and CVS Drugstore Shopping for 8/31/2014 (and good news at the register)!

Sunday, August 31st, 2014

image

Headed out to the drugstores as usual this morning, not entirely sure what was going to happen over at Walgreens with my Register Rewards. I’m happy to report some good news! It seems (at least for me this morning), that the registers are back to normal. Here’s what I bought, over several transactions (since I was testing the system).

Transaction #1:
2 Bugles, 0.99 ea, $1.98. Used 0.50/2 Bugles Printable coupon
Scope, $2.99. Used $1/1 from the 7/27 PG
6 Lindsay Olives, 0.99 with in-ad coupon. Used $1/2 Lindsay Olives Printable coupons

Total after coupons was $6.47 and I paid with a $3 RR and the rest on a card (the 0.50/2 Bugles coupon counts as one coupon, so one of the Bugles was my filler). No beeps! I purposely separated out the Morton salt so I could see if the RR went through without a problem. So happy that it did! Got back a $2.50 RR for the scope for a net cost of $3.97 with a savings of $15.02.

Transaction #2:
Morton Epson Salt, $4.00

Used $2.50/1 RR from transaction #1. Paid $1.47 and got back a $4 RR. Net cost 0.07 with a savings of $3.49.

Transaction #3:
Scope, $2.99. Used $1/1 from the 7/27 PG

Total was $2.22 and I got back a $2.50 RR. Net profit: 0.28 with a savings of $2.00.

Transaction #4:
Morton Epson Salt, $4.00

Used $2.50 RR from transcation #3. Paid $1.57 and got back a $4 RR. Net cost 0.07 with a savings of $3.49. Off to CVS, where I’d hoped to do the gift card deal again. There was no Tresemme on the shelf, so I settled for:

Pantene Hair Spray, $3.33. Used $2/1 from the 8/17 SS and $1/1 from the CVS coupon machine
Peroxiclear, $4.99. Used $2/1 Peroxi Clear Printable coupon

Total after coupons was $4.06 and I got back a $3 RR for the Peroxiclear. Net cost: $1.06 with a savings of $15.19.

Net cost for everything in the photo: $4.89 with a savings of $39.19 :-)

Walgreens and CVS Drugstore Shopping for 8/24/2014

Sunday, August 24th, 2014

Untitled

Headed out to the drugstores as usual this morning! Let’s start at Walgreens:

4 Almay Makeup Removers, BOGO 50% off of $5.99, $17.46. Used four $4/1 Almay from the 8/10 SS
2 Lay’s Sour Cream & Onion, BOGO Free at $3.00
3 M&Ms, $2.00 with in-store coupon. Used three $1/1 from the 7/13 RP
Schick Razor, 25% off, $7.86, Used $3/1 from the 8/10 SS
Schick Refill, 25% off, $9.74. Used $3/1 from the 8/10 SS
Vitaminwater Energy, $1.50
4 PaperMate Mechanical pencils, 0.29 ea, $1.16

Total after coupons was $25.28 and I got back $1.50 in RR and 6750 in BR (5000 for the Schick and the rest bonus Beauty BR for the Almay). Net cost: $17.03 with a savings of $63.17.

I did receive confirmation that Register Rewards can no longer be used with fillers. They will be treated as a manufacturer’s coupon, which have a limit of one per item. Plus, the purchase price of the item must be greater than the register reward! While this significantly changes the way I usually shop at Walgreens, I still believe I can get great deals there and will continue to shop at Wags.

Off to CVS…
