Making Money Walgreens Shopping for 3/19
Stopped by Walgreens before picking up my 14 yo (still on crutches, we found out last night it’s broken). Here’s what I bought:
Transaction #1:
2 Almay Makeup Remover Wipes, BOGO 50% off at $5.99, $8.99. Used $5/2 Almay cosmetics Printable coupon and $2/1 Almay from the March Walgreens coupons booklet
2 Bic Comfort 3 Razors, BOGO 50% off at $4.49, $6.73. Used two $3/1 from the 3/17 SS
2 Bayer Aspirin, BOGO 50% off at $3.19, $4.78. Used two $1/1 from the 3/17 SS
Applied Nutrition Green Tea Fat Burner, $7.00. Used $1/1 from the Vitamins and Supplements booklket
Starbucks Iced Coffee, 0.99
Total after coupons was $11.80 and I got back $7.99 in Register Rewards and 6000 Balance Rewards points ($7 for the Applied Nutrition, 0.99 for the Starbucks, 4000 BR for the Bayer and 2000 BR for spending over $10). Net profit $2.19 with a savings of $28.84.
Transaction #2:

Total after coupons was $10.60 and I got back $7.99 in Register Rewards and 4000 Balance Rewards points ($7 for the Applied Nutrition, 0.99 for the Starbucks, and 4000 BR for the Bayer). Note I didn’t get the extra 2000 BR for spending over $10 because my subtotal before tax was only $9.75. I wasn’t sure if the 2000 BR was before or after coupon, and now we know: it’s after coupon! So net profit $1.39 with a savings of $20.59.
Net profit for everything in the photo: $3.58 with a savings of $49.43 
Also I didn’t receive the $2/$10 Walgreens store coupon that Katie mentioned in comments. Hope you all got it!

I went today too for the 2000 BR for spending over $10. I received a $5 off on your purchase of $20 or more expires 3/21/13.

The email stated that the 2000 BR points for spending over $10 was one-time use only. I only got it once. I received the $2 off $10 coupon only on my second transaction today.
