Dominick’s and Jewel Shopping for 3/3/2013
My DH stopped at Dominick’s on the way home from work and I ran to Jewel, mostly to get chicken broth for my 4yo’s preschool class tomorrow. They are making “Stone Soup” and some of the canned broth has gluten. I bought four cans (purchased separately) of broth so he can have the soup (sans noodles) with the rest of the class. It’s hard to be a gluten free kid, and I can imagine it’s only going to get more difficult when he goes to kindergarten next year. So here’s what my DH bought at Dominick’s:
8 boxes Ocean Spray/Mott’s/Sunkist Fruit Snacks, 0.99 ea after instant savings. Used six 0.50/1 Mott’s or Sunkist Fruit Snacks printable coupon and a 0.50/2 Fruit Snacks Printable
Except the cashier forgot to scan some of the coupons (and DH didn’t notice, but that’s ok since I’m so glad he stopped for me!), so net cost $5.53 with a savings of $16.60. Now my trip to Jewel:
2 Carving Board Meats, $3.69 ea. Used Free coupon that came in the mail yesterday (a la Facebook) and $1/1 from the 1/6 SS
10 boxes Banquet Turkey Sausages, 0.80 ea after instant savings, $8.00
2 Canada Dry 10, 0.99 ea, $1.98. Used two 0.75/1 from the 3/3 Spring Flavor insert
2 Red Gold 28 oz Tomatoes, $1.00 ea. Used $1/2 Red Gold Tomatoes Printable coupon (zip 33033 on this page)
Total after coupons was $10.47 and I got back $1 OYNO for the Carving Board, so net cost $9.47 with a savings of $23.73.
Net cost for everything in the photo: $15.00 on the dot with a savings of $40.33

Thanks Kevin! The Dom’s ad indicates Kraft Singles or Sargento Shreds, so I don’t think the BOGO Free is on the Kraft shreds. I think there is a 0.55/2 Sargento coupon available, which might make for a good deal. I’ll post if I can find it!
