Hormel Party trays $5.99 at Meijer after Coupon Stack (1/27)

Note my local Target had these priced at $10.09, so your cost after coupon stack is just $4.09 over there!

I was at the Aurora Meijer yesterday and they would not take a stacked Target coupon. I was buying the Purina One dog food using a $2/1 Target coupon and $3/1 manufacturers coupon (the 3.5 pound bags were on sale for $5.49!) They advised me I could use either the Target coupon, OR the manufacturer coupon, but not both. Their coupon policy doesn’t state this. Is this subject to each store’s policy?
Pam, the official Meijer coupon policy has this statement:
•Meijer will accept coupons from major competitors in each store’s trading area, for Grocery and or for Health and Beauty Care items

Meijer corporate is leaving up to the individual stores to decide if they will accept competitor’s coupons. What’s even more frustrating is that sometimes in one store one employee will allow it while another employee will not.
You could try printing out the coupon policy and talking it over with customer service. HTH
