Menards rebate shopping is very simple, and I thought it might be helpful to put together a short tutorial for those of you who are new to shopping Menards.
When you purchase an item at Menards that has a mail in rebate attached, a rebate form will automatically print at the end of your store receipt. In order to submit for the rebate, head on over to the customer service desk and locate the form (by number) associated with the product you purchased. These are usually located on the wall under the customer service desk. The number is also on the rebate form printed on your receipt. You will need both of these forms to submit for your refund.
Fill out the back of the rebate form, including your name, address, and email. Separate the rebate slips from the bottom of your receipt and put the rebate form and associated receipt slip together in the envelope. You can submit multiple rebate forms in one envelope. Now be on the lookout for a card in the mail that looks like this:
It is easy to miss in the mail, mostly because it is small and does not come in an envelope. This card is your Menards store credit!
You can use the store credit to purchase more Free after rebate products. In order to use the credit, just hand the card to the cashier when you check out. If you are using it to buy more Free after rebate products, the rebate forms will print on the bottom of your receipt as usual. The Menards store credit never expires, and as you can see by the photo of my card above, you do not have to use the entire credit in one visit. You are allowed to use part of the credit; the cashier will record the amount you have left on your card. When you use the remainder of your credit, you will sign the card and give it to the cashier. That’s it!
