Gluten-Free Grocery Shopping List

Gluten-Free Grocery Shopping Guide

The Celiac Marketplace sells this guide to Gluten-Free Grocery Shopping, but I’ve never had the need for a guide. There is so much you can figure out on your own! The good thiing about the intolerance is that you can handle crumbs of gluten products without too much trouble, but we still do our best to minimize these instances. I thought I’d put together a list of the mainstream gluten-free foods that we purchase with no problem. I’m sure I’m missing some, and I will add to this list as I learn more.

This is a good news for the celiac community. This book will facilitate the process of choosing the right goods for you.
Thank you for sharing this one. It will be of great help.

I have celiecs and I thought that BBQ sauce was not on my list. I thought they used flour to thicken it. Just wondering is this list for sure GF. I found alot of stuff on your list I didn’t know about so I would love to try some new foods! Thank you.

Most barbecue sauces have modified food starch – some celiacs can tolerate it and some cannot. You’ll have to try it and see how you react to see if it’s a food you can continue to eat. We have no problem with it. Best of luck!

I have celiac disease too and we can have modified corn or rice starch, we just cannot have modified wheat starch or anything that has hydrolyzed wheat protein.

I noticed on your list that you have Milky Way bars. Only the dark chocolate ones are gluten free.

I think your list is wrong. For example — I called Green Giant consumer line and they told me the broccoli with cheese sauce is not gluten free.
